Privacy Policy

Last updated August 19, 2026. Plain language, because you should not need a lawyer to understand what a directory does with your details.

Who we are

NeoTrad Atlas and TattooAtlas are directories of tattoo artists, run by a working tattoo artist. We connect clients to artists for a free consultation. We are not a payment processor, we take no commission, and we never hold your money.

What we collect

If you book a consultation

Your first and last name, email address, phone number, and what you write about your tattoo idea and where it goes on your body. If you use the request form, any reference photos you upload. We collect this because the artist needs it to decide whether they are the right person for your tattoo and to contact you.

If you are an artist

Your public profile information, the email on your account, and, if you turn on Automated Booking, an access token for your Google Calendar. We also record when you accepted the Automated Booking terms.

If you ask the Builder to set up your page, we fetch your own public content once, at your request: your public Instagram profile photo, up to three public post images, and your public bio text. We store copies of those images on our servers (Supabase storage) so your page does not depend on links that expire, and we may derive your shop name from locations you have publicly tagged and turn your city or shop into map coordinates. We record when you asked and what the Builder added. You can edit or remove anything it added, any time, from your studio, and we never fetch again without you asking.

Everyone

Basic anonymous page analytics: which pages are viewed and whether a booking was started. No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiles, no selling of anything to anyone.

Google user data, specifically

If you connect Google Calendar, Atlas requests exactly two permissions and nothing else:

• See your free/busy times (calendar.freebusy). This returns time ranges only. It does not return event titles, descriptions, attendees, or locations. We use it to work out which consultation slots to offer, and for nothing else. We literally cannot see what your appointments are.
• Create and delete events (calendar.events). We use this to put a confirmed consultation on your calendar with the client invited, to add a Google Meet link when you offer video consults, to mirror the conventions and guest spots you enter in your dashboard, and to remove those events when a consultation is cancelled or declined.

We do not read your existing events. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to train any AI model. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except Google itself and the infrastructure providers listed below that are required to operate the service.

Access tokens are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect at any time from your dashboard, or revoke access directly at your Google account permissions page. When you disconnect, we delete the stored tokens and Automated Booking stops.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who processes your data

We use Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Cloudflare (hosting and bot protection), Resend (sending email), and Stripe (artist subscriptions only, never client payments). Each processes data only to provide their part of the service.

How long we keep it

Consultation records are kept while your booking is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so both sides have a record. Artist profiles are kept while the listing exists. Google Calendar tokens are deleted as soon as you disconnect.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Artists can disconnect their calendar or turn Automated Booking off at any time, and can ask for a listing to be removed. Clients can cancel a consultation using the link in their confirmation email.

Children

This service is for adults. Booking a consultation requires you to confirm you are 18 or older.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top, and artists will be asked to accept again where the change affects them.
